“A shelter among the clouds”in the official selection at the 22th edition of PÖFF BLACK NIGHTS…

A Shelter Among the Clouds , the second feature by Albanian writer-director Robert Budina, whose Agon was the country’s Best Foreign-language Film Academy Award submission in 2014, will have its world premiere in the Official Selection of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

The film stars internationally acclaimed Albanian actor Arben Bajraktaraj (Taken , Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 ) as Besnik, a shepherd suffering from a mental disorder who is taking care of his father, a former communist, in a village in mountainous North Albania. Up here, different religions have found a way to co-exist peacefully – Besnik is a devout Muslim, his mother was a Catholic, and his brother converted to the Orthodox faith in Greece.
